Longtime North Coast antiques dealer and interior designer Gregory Briggs has opened Antiques & Interior Design in Gearhart.
Briggs operated an antiques store in the Gearhart/Seaside area for many years before closing it about five years ago as his interior design business required him to commit to a heavy travel schedule.
"I thought I had retired from the antiques business a few years ago," he said.
However, he said he found it was time to dispose of the wealth of antiques he had acquired over the years.
The shop features American, French and Oriental period furniture and antiques, as well as porcelain dinner service and beautifully-crafted silver pieces.
Briggs, who also offers custom framing at his shop, enjoys sharing with visitors the history of pieces in his collection.
